My key take aways from Cocréa are the power of listening, invitation (consent tools), conversational dance, and EMBODIED dance.

I was so inspired watching the two of you lead, facilitate, move/dance and connect together in such a kind, vulnerageuous and loving way– what a joy this was!  I appreciate so much how you are with your community, your principles/values, and how dedicated you are to bringing more justice, equity, love, connection, transformation, presence and playfulness into the world.

Feel the indescribable presence of dancing in flow state with another body!

Taking inspiration from watersheds, ecstatic poetry and luscious dance music, FLOWETRY is a Cocréa workshop designed to help us listen with out hearts through our whole body and find the pathway of least resistance to Bliss.

Some of the truest bliss states I’ve found on the dance floor are when I find that current of effortless flow with a partner detached from style, but grounded in social partner dance technique.

It has been my experience and my belief that entering into flow states as a partnership can be trained and easily accessed even when only one partner is technically informed. When two such bodies meet, we find our common language provides the coherence to enter flow that much more easily.

In this workshop, we’ll focus on the techniques, patterns and right mindfulness (attunement) that allow for this embodiment and access to the lucid sensuality that is the body’s poetry. In finding our connection to feeling and form, detached from the importance of our individual expression, we open the portal to presence that reliably drops us into flow.

There will be attentiveness to the energy of eros as we dive into the nourishing waters of connected movement. We will also spend time with rhythm in music, and how we can find flow within our own solo dance more effortlessly. The embodiment and holding in right relationship of both these pieces deeply informs Cocréa and the focus of this workshop.

At the end of the day, it’s all about listening, letting go and trusting the flow.

Come get carried away.
